We hope you love your flowers as much as we do. To extend the vase life of your new blooms there are a few things you can do.
Change your vase water regularly
Changing the water in you vase will prolong the life of your flowers. We recommend changing every 2-3 days to get the most out of your blooms.
Recut the stems
Flower stems should be recut every time they’re removed from a water source to allow them to drink. For best results, cut stems on a 45 degree angle.
Most flowers prefer cooler environments. Keeping your blooms away from heaters or warm window ledges will keep them fresh for as long as possible.
Remove old blooms
As flowers age they release chemicals that cause other flowers to age faster. We suggest you remove old or wilted blooms in order to keep your longer-lasting flowers thriving.
Handle with care
Treat flowers delicately. Try not to leave them out of water or in the sun for too long as this will damage the blooms.
Remember, flowers are seasonal
Like all seasonal produce, each flower has a unique vase life. Some last longer than others, and some may respond differently each time you bring them home. Witnessing this lifecycle is part of the delight in owning a little slice of nature.
