Meet Reem
Bb* CONVERSATION SERIES
Hello! Welcome to the Bb* conversation series – seven questions with each of our team members, giving you a greater insight in to the florists behind your flowers.
Introducing Reem! Originally from Eritrea, Reem is trilingual (Arabic, Tigrinya, and English), has a really positive approach to learning new things and meeting new people, and is a pleasure to work with!
Hello Reem! What would you say is making you feel positive these days?

I feel like I am doing something, like I am working towards something. Because 2 months ago I was sitting and waiting with no hope. I feel like now I am finally on my way to achieve my goals.

What is the first thing you thought about this morning?

I was hungry! I was thinking about breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Who is the living woman you admire the most?

My mum, she is so strong. I didn’t know that before. I was seeing what she was doing, but I didn’t understand it until we moved to Australia. She sacrificed a lot of things for us.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you bring?

  1. Water
  2. A book
  3. Knife to cut wood

What’s the first thing on your to-do list?

Buy a phone!

If you could give any piece of advice, what would it be?

To always have patience for something. Whatever you are wanting to happen, will one day if you stay motivated.

If you had three wishes, what would they be?

  1. To make my mum proud of me
  2. To be financially stable
  3. To be happy

Thank you so much for sharing, Reem.
